Copyright Information for Internal/eBook Formats
An author always maintain all rights to his/her own work -- the words, the story are yours. The right to use the format created by Tell~Tell or TreasureLine in various distribution venues is dependent upon the requirements of those outlets (and is usually dependent upon the ISBN options used).
However, we do reserve the right to ask at our discretion for proof of ownership of your rights to any content. If you are unsure if you own the rights to the materials you wish to submit, please consult an attorney. To learn more about Copyrights, you may refer to the United States Copyright Offices at www.copyright.gov. Do keep in mind that “copyright happens” on unique content, meaning you are the copyright owner the minute it is created. Especially in this day and age of computers, a saved file will contain the initial date and serve as your proof of copyright. Send your manuscript to yourself as an email!
